Avani Enterprizes, a startup firm founded by Dr. Sridhar Viamajala, a professor in the Department of Bioengineering, to create sustainable technologies for recycling waste polypropylene, took the top prize Thursday at the UToledo Business Incubator’s Tech419 Pitch Competition.
