The University of Toledo community is invited to gather for a warm Thanksgiving lunch hosted by President James Holloway on Monday, Nov. 17, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Thompson Student Union Auditorium.
This year’s festive menu will feature sliced turkey, vegetarian cassoulet, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, seasoned green beans and a fresh house salad with ranch and Italian dressings. Rockets can finish their meal with a slice of pumpkin, apple or cherry pie, paired with holiday punch.
In the spirit of giving, the Office of Student Engagement and Connections invite attendees to bring a new, unwrapped toy, children’s book or stuffed animal to support UToledo’s annual toy drive, benefiting local families through a partnership with the Salvation Army.
While enjoying lunch, Rockets are also encouraged to explore the Wellness Fair taking place in the T-section of the auditorium, or the International Education Expo in Thompson Student Union Trimble Lounge.
As the semester winds down, this event is the perfect moment to pause, reflect and share gratitude with fellow Rockets before the holiday season begins.
