The University Libraries Art Student Showcase has returned to the Carlson Library North Gallery, and will run through Friday, Dec. 13.
The second-annual exhibit is an opportunity for undergraduate students in the University Department of Art to showcase their work on Main Campus. This year’s show features student work spanning painting, photography, printmaking and textiles.
The University Libraries has long been a supporter of student art on campus, holding pop-up exhibits in the past as well as a successful experiential learning program resulting in murals on the first, second and third floors of Carlson Library. This annual Art Student Showcase is the latest way for the library to continue that partnership and build the connection between the Main Campus and art school campus.
