The Catharine S. Eberly Center at is hosting its fifth annual Toy Drive benefitting the children of student parents through Dec. 1.
“The Toy Drive is one of my favorite programs, supporting student parents through the Holiday Toy Exchange is always impactful,” said Danielle Lutman, associate director for the Eberly Center. “Every year student parents express their gratitude and share their stories of the positive impact the Toy Drive has on them and their families.”
New, unopened toys can be dropped off at one of the donation sites on Main or Health Science Campus now through Monday, Dec. 1. A list of suggested donations and donation locations are available on the Toy Drive webpage.
The Holiday Toy Exchange is scheduled from Monday, Dec. 8, through Friday, Dec. 12. Student parents can register for the Holiday Toy Exchange through Monday, Dec. 1, on the Eberly Center’s Toy Drive Registration webpage. In addition to one gift per child, student parents are able to receive diapers, coloring materials and one book per family.
In the past four years, the Toy Drive has been able to provide 397 children toys through the Holiday Toy Exchange. We hope that this year is our biggest yet.
