The free COVID-19 testing scheduled for Thursday and Friday at The University of Toledo is being moved inside Rocket Hall because of forecasted high winds on Thursday.

Testing will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, and Friday, Nov. 20, inside the Rocket Hall lobby. Drive-thru testing will not be available.

Individuals arriving for a test should enter Rocket Hall through the main entrance on the west side of the building, facing Secor Road. Parking is available in area 25.

Face coverings and social distancing are required for all participants, and extra safety precautions will be in place to separate the COVID-19 testing area from the rest of the building.

Health insurance is not required, but students, faculty and staff should bring their Rocket ID with them.

No appointments or physician referrals are needed. Individuals are encouraged to complete their pre-registration forms ahead of time to reduce wait times. Printable pre-registration forms can be found on the UToledo coronavirus website.

The testing is made possible through a partnership with the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department. The health department also will provide testing for community members during a public portion of the testing event.
