Deborah Orloff, a professor and associate chair of the Department of Art, is hosting a solo exhibition at River House Arts, 425 Jefferson Ave., through Monday, Dec. 15.
“Archive of Absence” includes work from several series by Orloff. Her collection, started in 2013, consists of high-resolution photographs containing damaged family photos that emphasize deterioration, drawing the connection between memory, family and identity.
The exhibition is free to the public.
