The boil advisory issued last week was lifted Sunday afternoon; the water is safe to drink and wash hands.

Seven buildings on Main Campus have a boil water drinking advisory in effect.

The buildings are:

• University Hall;

• Stranahan Hall;

• Savage & Associates Business Complex;

• Health and Human Services Building;

• McMaster Hall;

• Ritter Planetarium; and

• Snyder Memorial Building.

Water is back on in these buildings, and restrooms may be used. However, water should not be consumed or used to wash hands. Hand sanitizer is recommended.

The advisory will be in effect until Sunday, Nov. 25.

A water main break between the Savage & Associates Business Complex and Ritter Planetarium necessitated the shutdown Wednesday morning.

Shows scheduled at Ritter Planetarium this weekend have been canceled.
