The city of Toledo in conjunction with the village of Ottawa Hills will close Secor Road from Valleston Parkway to Towerview Boulevard beginning Jan. 3, 2023, for a seven-month construction project.
The closure was recently announced as part of the ongoing replacement for the bridge that carries Secor Road over the Ottawa River. The project also will include the installation of new pavement and sidewalks.
During the closure, a detour from Bancroft Street to University Hills Boulevard to Douglas Road to Dorr Street will have detour signs in both directions.
The campus community will have access to the University’s western entrance by driving southbound on Secor Road.
