Seniors Maxen Hook, Jerjuan Newton and Jacquez Stuart led a group of nine Rockets who earned 2024 All-MAC honors, the Mid-American Conference announced on Thursday.

Hook, a safety from New Palestine, Indiana, earned first-team All-MAC honors for the third consecutive season. He also earned third-team All-MAC honors as a redshirt freshman in 2021, making him just the third Rocket ever to make an All-MAC team in four seasons. The others were safety Barry Church (2006-09) and offensive lineman Nick Kaczur (2001-04), both of whom had lengthy careers in the NFL.

Newton, a wide receiver from St. Peterburg, Florida, earned first-team All-MAC for a second consecutive season. He also earned second-team honors in 2022. Running back Jacquez Stuart earned first-team honors as a kickoff returner for a second consecutive season. The three seniors were joined on the All-MAC first-team by junior wide receiver Junior Vandeross III.

Second-team honorees were senior defensive tackle Darius Alexander, junior cornerback Avery Smith and redshirt freshman punt returner Bryan Hammer. Senior linebacker Daniel Bolden and sophomore offensive lineman Ethan Spoth made the third team.
