Power on, turn it up, hit the switch: Get ready for a bright holiday season at the Satellites Auxiliary’s batteries and bulbs sale Tuesday, Dec. 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in UT Medical Center’s Four Seasons Bistro Atrium.
There will be batteries for all kinds of toys. Looking for a specialty battery? Ask at the sale.
Purchased batteries can be replaced in watches and/or key fobs.
Specialty flashlights and auxiliary chargers will be for sale, and there will be a variety of light bulbs, including LED, miniature, appliance, halogen and fluorescent.
And there will be remote control boats, cars, helicopters and more.
“This sale will help you be prepared for every day, as well as the holidays for all the toys and gizmos,” Lynn Brand, president of the Satellites, said.
Cash, check, credit cards and payroll deduction will be accepted.
Donations to the Satellites will be gratefully accepted, Brand said.
The Satellites Auxiliary promotes education, research and service programs; provides support of patient programs in accordance with the needs and approval of administration; conducts fundraising events; and offers volunteer services.
