As a reminder, the University will close for the annual winter break from Dec. 23 through Jan. 1 at a time when most departments are slower than usual.
Access to buildings will be restricted, and facility operations and ground maintenance also will be limited during the break. The University of Toledo Medical Center and its operations will remain open for patients and their guests.
The end of the semester and winter break also bring new hours and temporary closures of on-campus services through the holidays.
At Thompson Student Union, most dining locations will close as finals week concludes. Only Chick-Fil-A and True Burger will be open Friday, Dec. 17, but with limited hours, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., respectively.
Frogtown Café and Subway will be open Monday, Dec. 20, through Wednesday, Dec. 22, with limited hours: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frogtown Café and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Subway.
Thompson Student Union will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23, through Sunday, Jan. 2, for winter break.
The Student Recreation Center will be closed Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 18 and 19, reopen for normal hours Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 20-22, and then close for winter break.
Carlson Library will be closed Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 18 and 19, and have reduced hours of operation, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 20-22. The library will be closed for winter break, and reopen Monday, Jan. 3, with limited hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., through the first day of classes for spring semester on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
The library will be closed Monday, Jan. 17, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Main Campus Pharmacy will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23, Friday, Dec. 24, and Saturday, Dec. 31. The pharmacy will be open with regular business hours for the rest of winter break.
The outpatient pharmacy in the UTMC Medical Pavilion on Health Science Campus will have reduced hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 23. The pharmacy will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24, Saturday, Dec. 25, Friday, Dec. 31 and Saturday, Jan. 1. It will keep regular business hours for the rest of winter break.
The UT Access Pharmacy in the Comprehensive Care Center will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23, Friday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 31.
The Counseling Center will be closed during winter break. For mental health emergency and support services during the break, students have access to our phone support line at 419.530.2426 by selecting option 1. For other emergencies call 911.
The University Health Center will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23, Friday, Dec. 24, and Saturday, Dec. 25. The health center will open for rapid COVID-19 testing only Monday, Dec. 27 through Thursday, Dec. 30. The office is closed on Friday, Dec. 31.
