Symptom-free faculty, staff and students who wish to be tested for COVID-19 ahead of winter break can request a free rapid antigen test through Wednesday, Dec. 22.

To request an appointment, individuals should visit the University’s online scheduling portal.

Testing is being offered on Main Campus and Health Science Campus. Appointments are currently available through Friday, Dec. 17. Additional appointment times for Dec. 20 through Dec. 22 will be added next week.

The University will continue to offer COVID-19 testing at the University Health Center on Main Campus through Dec. 22 for anyone experiencing symptoms.

The University Health Center will be closed Dec. 23 through Dec. 26. It will reopen for rapid antigen testing only from Monday, Dec. 27, through Thursday, Dec. 30.

Regular clinic hours will resume on Monday, Jan. 3.

The University’s required COVID-19 surveillance testing continues this week for all unvaccinated employees. Unvaccinated students are not required to test this week.

During winter break, which runs from Dec. 23 through Dec. 31, surveillance testing will only be required of unvaccinated employees at The University of Toledo Medical Center.

The normal testing schedule for all unvaccinated employees resumes on Monday, Jan. 3.

All residential students will be scheduled for a no-cost rapid antigen test on campus prior to moving into their assigned residence hall. This is required regardless of their vaccination status.

Weekly testing for unvaccinated students will resume with the start of spring semester Jan. 18.
