Golfers in northwest Ohio have an opportunity to improve their games this winter by signing up for practice sessions and youth clinics in the Rocket Golf Performance Center inside the Fetterman Building.

Participants will have access to state-of-the-art golf facilities in the Fetterman Training Center.

Participants will have access to state-of-the-art golf facilities in the Fetterman Training Center.

Women’s Golf Coach Nicole Hollingsworth will provide these opportunities in January, February and March for golfers to get their games ready to go this spring.

“I’m very excited to offer the practice sessions for adults this coming winter,” Hollingsworth said. “We have had similar offerings the last two years, and they have been very successful. The people who have attended have really enjoyed using our facility and their golf games have improved. To be able to come in and use our facility to tune up before the spring is a great opportunity.”

The practice sessions and youth clinics will be held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings with individuals having the opportunity to hit balls into nets as well as chip and putt on a 3,500-square-foot green.

The cost for each session is $60 and includes three 60-minute practices.

Sessions are available starting Jan. 13 through March 13 and run from 6 to 7 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m.

For more information or to schedule a session, contact Hollingsworth at nicole.hollingsworth@utoledo.edu or 419.530.7761.
