The University of Toledo will celebrate Jewish Heritage Month with several events in April.

“It’s important for our campus community to recognize the contributions of Jewish people, not only in our country, but around the world,” Aleiah Jones, program coordinator with the Office of Multicultural Student Success, said. “I hope that people will join us to learn more about the customs and traditions of the Jewish people, beyond what they were taught in school.

“I am especially excited about BKind coming to campus where we will be able to connect with people doing good deeds all around the world,” she added.

Leaders from Bkind [http://bkind.world/] will visit campus to give the keynote address for Jewish Heritage Month Wednesday, April 11, at 7 p.m. in Rocket Hall Room 1520. The organization promotes initiating and celebrating kindness.
