University of Toledo diver Joelle Gallais earned individual Scholar All-America Honorable Mention accolades from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

The bioengineering major has an impressive resumé in her first season at UToledo, garnering six first-place finishes in the diving well and competing at the NCAA Diving Zones.

The award recognizes student-athletes that have achieved a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and competed in their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

In addition to the 1,221 first-team selection, 890 students were named as Honorable Mention selections. These students have similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a “B” standard time or competed at the NCAA Regional or Diving Zones.
