The University of Toledo’s John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation will host its Fall Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, in Savage Arena.

More than 100 employers will be in attendance, searching for talented Business Rockets to hire for internships and full-time positions.

Students of all majors and ranks within the Neff College of Business and Innovation are encouraged to attend.

“The students are glad to be back on campus and so are the employers,” said Craig Turner, career advisor and employer relations in the College’s Business Career Programs Office.

“They missed the person-to-person connection. The energy and excitement in the room at these events are amazing.”

Due to Covid protocols, the College has been forced to host its Fall and Spring Job Fairs virtually and in a hybrid online and in-person modality. This year’s Fall Job Fair will be fully in-person.

Many companies including Owens Corning, Dana, Key Bank, Welltower, Fastenal, Fifth Third Bank, Marathon Petroleum, Emerson Electric, La-Z-Boy, Signature Bank, Penske will be in attendance to recruit the next generation of successful UToledo students.

New companies added to this year’s Job Fair include the J.M. Smucker Co., Tata Consultancy Services, Uline, Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, LexisNexis and Bath & Body Works’ corporate office.

The Neff College of Business and Innovation also will host career events leading up to the Fall Job Fair including ‘Chillin’ With the Firms Meet N Greet’ Ice Cream Social, a networking event that allows business students to meet with employers in a more casual setting, as well as mock interview and resume critique days.

The John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation’s seven-year average job placement rate is more than 91%.
