Don’t miss out on getting involved.

The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership is hosting its Student Involvement Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, at Centennial Mall.

The Student Involvement Fair runs 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 29 at Centennial Mall. This year’s event is the largest yet, with more than 170 organizations, offices and departments participating.

The goal and purpose of the event is to encourage and help students get connected to the University through opportunities that enhance their college experience.

“This is the largest involvement fair we’ve had on campus yet, and we are excited to be able to offer it in person this year,” said Ashlen Torio, Student Staff Involvement Fair Coordinator and a senior majoring in business administration.

“We have over 170 organizations, offices and departments signed up to participate. We want students to find organizations that they are interested in and excited to be a member of, and also help them in the development of their career aspirations.”

Students will have opportunities to engage with those campus and Toledo-community organizations and to learn about additional employment or even volunteer-based opportunities.

For job-seeking students, those offices or departments looking to hire student staff will be distinguished by a red balloon at their table. It’s also not too late to register to have a table at the Student Involvement Fair.

The deadline is Wednesday, Aug. 25. Offices, departments and student organizations interested in participating need to register via InvoNet.

For student organizations, sign this InvoNet registration.
