UToledo to Recognize Graduates Dec. 16 at Fall Commencement Ceremonies

The University of Toledo will celebrate the Class of 2023 at fall commencement on Saturday, Dec. 16.

Two ceremonies are scheduled inside the John F. Savage Arena to celebrate more than 1,500 candidates for degrees, including 1,133 bachelor’s, 289 master’s and 126 doctoral candidates.

Two ceremonies are scheduled inside the John F. Savage Arena Saturday to celebrate more than 1,500 candidates for degrees, including 1,133 bachelor’s, 289 master’s and 126 doctoral candidates.

Students in the College of Arts and Letters, the John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation, College of Law, College of Medicine and Life Sciences, College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, College of Nursing and the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences will be recognized at 9 a.m.

Students in the Judith Herb College of Education, College of Engineering, College of Health and Human Services and University College will be recognized at 1 p.m.

“The world is waiting for these students as they join the prestigious group of individuals who proudly call themselves alumni of The University of Toledo,” President Gregory Postel said. “They will always be an important part of our Rocket family, and we can’t wait to see what they’ll do next.”

Pat Bowe, president and chief executive officer of The Andersons Inc., will deliver the commencement address at each ceremony. He will receive a Doctor of Commercial Science, honoris causa.

Due to capacity and fire code regulations, tickets are required for admission to commencement.
