As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to increasing student programming, The Division of Student Affairs and Campus Activities and Programming are launching a free Monday movie night series in Doermann Theatre beginning Monday, Feb. 12.
The inaugural Monday night movie is the 1999 romantic comedy “Ten Things I Hate About You.” In this Shakespeare adaptation, a teenage boy is smitten with a sweet and beautiful girl but runs into a problem: her abrasive and ill-tempered older sister.
To enhance the viewing experience, students will be able to enjoy free concessions including popcorn and soft drinks when doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the movie beginning at approximately 7 p.m.
Upcoming dates include:
Feb. 19 — “Higher Learning,”
March 11 — “Barbie,”
March 18 — “Top Gun” and,
March 25 — “The Color Purple,” the 2023 musical.
Students will be required to present their Rocket ID upon entry.
