Reminder: Black History Month Kickoff Event Feb. 1

UToledo’s celebration of Black History Month kicks off Thursday, Feb. 1, at 6 p.m. in Doermann Theatre with an inspiring event featuring Steve Pemberton, a visionary senior human resource executive, esteemed human capital strategist, bestselling author, passionate human rights advocate and dedicated youth advocate. The event is free and open to the public.

Pemberton’s impactful leadership and compelling storytelling have consistently garnered praise, connecting deeply with diverse audiences and organizations alike.
