Free, On-Campus Monday Movie Night Series for Rockets Launches Feb. 12

As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to increasing student programming, The Division of Student Affairs and Campus Activities and Programming are launching a free Monday movie night series in Doermann Theatre beginning Monday, Feb. 12.

The inaugural Monday night movie is the 1999 romantic comedy “Ten Things I Hate About You.” In this Shakespeare adaptation, a teenage boy is smitten with a sweet and beautiful girl but runs into a problem: her abrasive and ill-tempered older sister.

Promotional graphic for Movie Night Mondays series in Doermann Theater beginning Monday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. with "Ten Things I Hate About You."To enhance the viewing experience, students will be able to enjoy free concessions including popcorn and soft drinks when doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the movie beginning at approximately 7 p.m.

Upcoming dates include:

Feb. 19 — “Higher Learning,”

March 11 — “Barbie,”

March 18 — “Top Gun” and,

March 25 — “The Color Purple,” the 2023 musical.

Students will be required to present their Rocket ID upon entry.
