‘Lynching of Emmet Till’ Author to Speak at Upcoming UToledo Virtual Event

Dr. Christopher Metress, university professor at Samford University and author of “The Lynching of Emmet Till: A Documentary Narrative,” will speak in an upcoming Department of Africana Studies virtual event as part of Black History Month.

Titled “Let the Whole World See: Reflections on the Legacy of Emmett Till,” the free event is scheduled for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, via Webex.
