Carlson Library will host an Anime Festival Wednesday, March 1, in the Carlson Library Main Event Space Room 1005.

Beginning at 2 p.m., the festival will show the first episodes of four different classic anime series followed by an anime film.

•  2 p.m., “Spy x Family.” A spy and an assassin are pretending to be married — only their adopted telepathic daughter knows their true identities.

•  2:30 p.m., “Sailor Moon Crystal.” The classic story of a girl discovering her magical powers, magical friends and galaxy-threatening enemies.

•  3 p.m., “My Hero Academia.” A boy with no superpowers is chosen to inherit a powerful ability and now must attend superhero school.

•  3:30 p.m., “Trigun: Stampede.” Reporters pursue infamous outlaw Vash the Stampede across a Wild West-inspired desert planet.

•  4 p.m., “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.” In this 2006 film loosely based on the 1967 novel of the same name, a teen girl discovers that she can time travel … but at what cost?

The event is free for all UToledo staff and students.
