Acclaimed Violin Piano Duo Opus Two Performing March 23

Acclaimed violin-piano duo, Opus Two, will perform at The University of Toledo Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, March 23.

Beginning at 7 p.m., the free, public concert, titled “The Music of Stephen Sondheim (1930-2021) — New Transcriptions for Violin and Piano by Eric Stern,” will include music from their latest album, “A Little Night Music,” featuring the music of Sondheim.

The Opus Two duo, violinist William Terwilliger, a former UToledo faculty member, and pianist Andrew Cooperstock, has a tradition of championing the works of great American composers including the works of George Gershwin, Paul Schoenfield, Aaron Copland, Lowell Liebermann and Leonard Bernstein, and has performed extensively across the United States and worldwide.

Parking permits are not needed after 5 p.m. Saturday, but will be enforced for reserved, disabled, metered and patient parking spaces/areas.
