UToledo To Host Fourth COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall

The University of Toledo will welcome Dr. Daniel Cadigan, medical director at the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department, to its next virtual town hall discussion on COVID-19 on Tuesday, March 30.

Cadigan will provide an update about the region’s response to COVID-19 and be joined by a panel of UToledo experts for a live Q&A session.

The event — the fourth in UToledo’s COVID-19 town hall series — will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. via Webex.

The event is hosted by The University of Toledo Foundation and is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

Panelists include:

•  Dr. Joan Duggan, infectious disease specialist and professor of medicine;

•  Dr. Jennifer Hanrahan, infectious disease specialist and associate professor of medicine;

•  Dr. Jason Huntley, associate professor of medical microbiology and immunology; and

•  Dr. Russell Smith, chief pharmacy officer at The University of Toledo Medical Center.

Dr. Christopher Cooper, dean of the College of Medicine and Life Sciences and executive vice president for clinical affairs, will lead the discussion.
