RocketFest 2025 runs Monday, April 14, through Friday, April 18, and will feature several events to encompass a host of activities for Student Appreciation Week.
This year’s theme is “RocketFest: Celebrating the Magic Within Every Student.” At any event, students can earn attendance badges and then present at end of the week to earn prizes.
Among the RocketFest activities and events is the bonfire at the Flatlands from 7:30 to 10 p.m. April 19.
The week’s events:
Monday, April 14
• RocketFest Wellness Fair featuring relaxing crafts, self-care items and learning about wellness from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Centennial Mall.
Sex Education Bingo from 3 to 5 p.m. in Thompson Student Union Rooms 2582/84.
• Laser Tag will be played in Centennial Mall from 6 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday, April 15
• Tote-Bag Making in Thompson Student Union Room 2584 from noon to 2 p.m.
Wednesday, April 16
• Grab and Go RocketFest Pancakes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Thompson Student Union concourse.
• Stuff-a-Plush from 3 to 5 p.m. in Thompson Student Union Auditorium. A variety of unstuffed plushies will be available that can be customized with a special heart or scent for a personal touch.
Thursday, April 17
• Get you and your friends drawn by a caricature artist from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Centennial Mall.
• RocketFest at the Rec from 5 to 7 p.m. in Student Recreation Center. Play yard games, scale the rock climbing wall and participate in group fitness classes all evening long.
Friday, April 19
• T-Shirt printing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Thompson Student Union overhang by the fountain. Get a free, limited-edition T-shirt while supplies last.
• Bonfire from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the flatlands. Say farewell to RocketFest with s’mores and a warm fire.
