Dr. Jiayong Liu, an associate professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery in the College of Medicine and Life Sciences.
Participants in the ALDP engage in a yearlong series of campus-based and MAC-wide activities focused on leadership in higher education, including intensive workshops, mentoring and cross-institutional collaboration.
“This program provides an incredible opportunity for faculty to reflect on their leadership goals and develop the skills needed to shape the future of higher education,” said Dr. Jeanne Kusina, UToledo’s institutional liaison to the MAC ALDP. “We’re proud to support the growth of these emerging leaders and look forward to seeing the impact they will have across our University and beyond.”
Established in 2017, the MAC ALDP promotes leadership development and networking among faculty across the MAC and supports the development of a diverse pipeline of future academic administrators.
