“We look forward to this event every year as it provides an excellent opportunity for the UToledo career offices and employers to touch base on a wide range of timely topics,” said Shelly Drouillard, director of Career Services. “These kinds of conversations are crucial for us to work collaboratively with employers to address current and future workforce needs.”

Archie Heinl, a two-time UToledo alumnus, will give the keynote address at the Summer Employer Rocket Retreat. The president of Double A Solutions, LLC, Heinl, along with his team, will be covering their strategies and successes in overcoming hiring challenges and supporting a hybrid work model.

Following the keynote, employers will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions to delve deeper into the topics of recruitment and retention strategies, hiring international students and coaching Rockets for career success.
