The University of Toledo’s season-opening football game at No. 10 Florida Saturday, Aug. 31, will be televised in the Toledo market on WMNT’s My Network TV (My58), the station’s general manager Melyssa Knight announced today.
Kickoff is slated for approximately 12:20 p.m.
WMNT is an over-the-air station on channel 48.1. It is carried on channel 58 on Buckeye CableSystem and on channel 10 on AT&T U-Verse in Toledo. The WMNT-TV Digital Broadcast network of channels includes My Network and Mundo Fox (48.2 over-the-air and on Buckeye Cable channels 156 and 256). Mundo Fox also will carry the Toledo-Florida game as a simulcast in English.
The game is being produced and carried by the SEC Network, can be seen online on ESPN3, and will be available nationally to subscribers of ESPN GamePlan.
Toledo is coming off a 9-4 season in 2012 (7-1 Mid-American Conference), its third straight winning season. The Rockets return six All-MAC players, including senior wide receiver Bernard Reedy (88 receptions) and senior running back David Fluellen (1,498 yards rushing).
The Gators were 11-2 last season and are ranked No. 10 in the country in the USA Today preseason coaches poll.

The Ultimate Fan Plan is a $65 season ticket that provides fans a season ticket, free parking, $24 in concession vouchers and a $20 gift card to the Rocket Shop. Since it debuted in 2010, the Ultimate Fan Plan has sold out every year. Last year, UT sold 5,525 Ultimate Fan Plan season tickets, part of a school-record 11,917 season tickets sold overall.
UT students are admitted to home games free by showing their Rocket ID; UT faculty and staff can purchase tickets half off with ID.
