The Military Service Center along with the Student Veterans of America UToledo chapter is hosting the Fifth annual 22 Pushup Challenge on Monday, Sept. 11, to raise awareness of veteran suicide during National Suicide Awareness Month.
The 22 Pushup Challenge is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the green between Memorial Field House and Veterans Memorial Plaza.
Participants will complete 22 pushups, symbolic of the Veterans Health Administration’s finding that, on average, 22 veterans commit suicide every day.
