With the advance purchase of tickets for the Saturday, Oct. 1, Homecoming game against Central Michigan, UToledo alumni receive the promotional price of $22 per ticket.
In celebration of UToledo’s 150th anniversary, $5 of every ticket sale will be donated to the Rocket Boost Scholarship, a need-based scholarship to help current and future UToledo students. Each contribution to the Rocket Boost Scholarship will be recognized by The University of Toledo Foundation.
The Toledo Rockets vs. Central Michigan University Chippewas game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. During halftime, Homecoming Parade float winners will be announced, along with an iconic halftime performance from the Rocket Marching Band.
Prior to the game, the Edward C. and Helen G. Schmakel Homecoming Parade begins at 10 a.m. The parade is sponsored by Blue Key National Honor Society. The parade route will begin at West Bancroft Street and Campus Road and go east to Cheltenham Road to Christie Street to Middlesex Drive and back to West Bancroft Street.
There is a Pregame Party as well from noon to 3:30 p.m. at the William and Carol Koester Alumni Pavilion. Stop by for a free hot dog, chips and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a cash bar for those 21 and older with proper ID.
