Join the Division of Student Affairs for its second annual campus tour on Lime scooters at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1 starting at the Lancelot Thompson Student Union steps facing Centennial Mall.

“While we need to remain socially distant during the pandemic, we want to make sure the students are still able to explore campus and make connections with their peers,” said Dr. Phillip “Flapp” Cockrell, vice president of student affairs and vice provost. “The Lime scooters and bicycles are an exciting resource to offer our students and are great for getting us outside during these difficult times.”

In 2019 Dr. Phillip “Flapp” Cockrell, vice president of student affairs and vice provost, led a campus tour on Lime Scooters. The 2020 event will be held Oct. 1 following appropriate safety guidelines, including wearing face coverings, maintaining six feet distance between others and not exchanging scooters.

Cockrell will be joined by Dr. Sammy Spann, associate vice president and dean of students at UToledo.

Students will receive a free face covering and hand sanitizer at the event.

The scooter rental is free but only a limited number will be available. Register on the event page on InvoNet.
