The University Women’s Commission’s fall 2021 Membership Luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Savage Arena in the Grogan Room.
The one-hour event begins at noon and will feature guest speaker Dr. Denise Bartell, associate vice provost for student success.
“The University Women’s Commission’s Membership Luncheon serves as the kickoff event for our organization each year,” said Kelly Andrews, senior associate athletics director/senior woman administrator in Intercollegiate Athletics, who is chair of the commission.
“All monies raised through membership support scholarships for undergraduate women at UToledo. In addition to raising membership funds, the luncheon highlights a guest speaker from the UToledo faculty or staff, and the event also serves as a networking opportunity for members and potential members.”
Members of the campus community are invited to join the University Women’s Commission.
Annual membership costs $30 for UToledo employees and $10 for students and is tax-deductible.
The University Women’s Commission provides scholarships to female students and annually recognizes UToledo’s outstanding women.
