Carlson Library Celebrating National Novel Writing Month

It’s time to put pen to paper and write the next Great American Novel.

Carlson Library is celebrating the return to in-person National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) events for the first time since 2019 with three events scheduled in November.

•  Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 2 to 3 p.m. The NaNoWriMo Kick-Off Party in Carlson Library Room CL2024. Come by and mingle with fellow participants, enjoy some leftover Halloween candy and get ready to write that novel.

•  Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 2 to 3 p.m. NaNoWriMo Author Pep Talk in Carlson Library Room CL2024. UToledo’s L.A. Cummings, author of “The Everlasting Earth,” will give a live pep talk about his writing process and how you can complete your novel.

•  Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 2 to 3 p.m.NaNoWriMo “Thank Goodness It’s (Almost) Over” Party in Carlson Library Room CL2024. Join fellow participants for snacks, and to swap stories and successes and get to the finish line.
