The Mikhail Memorial Lecture has been a continuous event at UToledo since 2001. It is sponsored by the College of Arts and Letters and the Mikhail Endowment Fund, which supports an annual lecture dealing with Arab culture, history, politics, economics and other aspects of life in the Middle East, including issues of peace and justice.

National Public Radio host Leila Fadel was originally scheduled to present the 23rd Annual Mikhail Memorial Lecture in October, but was called away on assignment in Gaza.

Those who wish to make a tax-deductible contribution to the Mikhail Endowment Fund can go to the UToledo Foundation website.
