The University of Toledo will welcome the new year with an enrollment open house on Thursday, Jan. 4, providing a last-minute opportunity for prospective students looking to begin classes in the spring 2024 semester that begins Tuesday, Jan. 16.

Rocket One Stop will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, in Rocket Hall on the University’s Main Campus.

Individuals will be able to complete their application, submit transcripts, be admitted, meet with financial aid representatives, complete orientation and enroll in classes. Advisors from each of UToledo’s academic colleges also will be on hand.

“We want to make it easy for students to take care of this all in one day at one single location,” said Christy Sevier, assistant vice president of undergraduate admissions. “Spring semester is rapidly approaching, but it’s not too late for students to get started. This event gives them a chance to enroll for spring in a very easy format.”

Advanced registration is encouraged, but not required. Individuals can register online via the Rocket One Stop website. Attendees do need to bring with them their official academic transcripts.

Sevier also encourages prospective students to complete their application ahead of time if they can, but it will be possible to apply at the Rocket One Stop event.

The event is open to anyone who is looking to start classes in the spring 2024 semester, though particularly geared toward transfer students, or students who previously started courses at UToledo but temporarily stepped away from their studies.

A similar enrollment open house in July drew approximately 100 prospective students.
