The University of Toledo Medical Center has joined a group of more than 50 U.S. hospitals led by the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic on a campaign to encourage Americans to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

The University of Toledo has updated its plans for this week’s on-campus vaccine distribution switching to the Pfizer vaccine and opening the clinic to students, faculty and staff.

Volunteers will direct patients at the student-only COVID-19 vaccine clinic on April 10 in Savage Arena.

The clinic will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Thompson Student Union Auditorium. Students will soon receive an email inviting them to register for the vaccine.
