The Toledo men’s basketball team will host Western Michigan in first-round action of the Mid-American Conference Tournament Monday, March 9, at Savage Arena.
Toledo (16-15, 8-10 MAC) is the No. 7 seed in the tournament, while Western Michigan (13-18, 6-12 MAC) is the No. 10 seed.
Toledo has won four of its last five games heading into Monday’s first-round MAC Tournament game Monday, March 9, in Savage Arena.
Men’s basketball season ticket members have a ticket for Monday’s game included in their season ticket package. All others may purchase their tickets online at Toledo Rockets Ticket Central website, by phone at 419.530.GOLD (4653), or at the Rocket Ticket Office in Savage Arena. Tickets also may be purchased at the door. UToledo students will be admitted free with ID.
Parking for Monday’s game will follow regular-season procedures. If there is a doubleheader, those holding “A” parking passes may park in areas 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 18. Those holding “B” parking passes may park in areas 10 and 18, or in any general admission parking area. For more information on game-day parking, go to utrockets.com.
Following Monday’s first-round games, the MAC Tournament moves to Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland (March 11-14). Rocket fans may reserve their seats for all games in Cleveland and pick their tickets up at will call at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The women’s tournament will begin with the quarterfinals Wednesday, March 11. The men’s quarterfinals start Thursday, March 12. Both sets of semifinals will be on Friday, March 13, with the finals Saturday, March 14.
Tickets can be purchased online at Toledo Rockets Ticket Central website, by phone at 419.530.GOLD (4653), or by visiting the Rocket Ticket Office in Savage Arena. Only tickets purchased through The University of Toledo will be in the Rocket section of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Fans will be billed for tickets only if the Rockets advance and can be picked up at the Toledo will call table in the outer lobby of the arena.
The UToledo Alumni Office will host a pregame party before every men’s and women’s game in Cleveland. All pre-game parties will begin two hours prior to the Rockets’ games and will be held at Harry Buffalo (2120 E. 4th St., Cleveland) just across the street from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
