With the recent thaw and puddles everywhere on campus, we turn back to March of 1963 when UToledo was flooded, along with the state of Ohio and surrounding states, as the eastern portion of the United States was deluged with rain and snow.

University to Close for Winter Break Dec. 24-Jan. 1

Access to buildings will be restricted, and facility operations and ground maintenance also will be limited during the break, Dec. 24 through Jan. 1. UTMC and its operations will remain open for patients and their guests.

Public Art Contribution

An abstract design by Barbara Miner, professor and chair of the Department of Art, was recently selected by the Arts Commission as a colorful new signal box wrap located at the corner of Jackson Boulevard and Michigan Avenue, outside of the Domestic Relations Court in downtown Toledo.
