Grammy-winning Rapper Headlines Founder’s Day Concert

Headlined by Grammy-winning rapper T-Pain, the free concert is scheduled from 5 to 10:20 p.m. Oct. 12 in Savage Arena. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. with a maximum capacity of 4,000 people on a first-come, first-served basis.


Historic Homecoming Parade

Saturday morning’s Edward C. and Helen G. Schmakel Homecoming Parade, themed Rockets Flashback as part of The University of Toledo’s sesquicentennial celebration, kicked off a day of festivities, capped by the Rockets victory over Central Michigan, 38-17.

In honor of Saturday’s Homecoming, we look back to this float circa 1970. As we celebrate UToledo’s sesquicentennial this year, we’re also approaching the centennial of our first Homecoming in 1924 when the Rockets played the then-named Bowling Green Normal School. Homecoming Game Ticket Promotional Offer Available to Alumni

Due to the weather forecast, The University of Toledo’s Founder’s Day concert is being moved indoors to Savage Arena, and the fireworks and food trucks are canceled.
