Children at the UToledo Early Learning Center enjoy a trip up the Maumee River on the Sandpiper as part of Camp Rockets with Distinguished University Lecturer Todd Crail leading an activity called “Macroinvertebrate Casserole” where they sort through plants and sediment to discover aquatic insect larvae, crayfish and mussels.
Tickets are $25 for the event from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at TolHouse, located at 1447 N. Summit St.
