UT students who wanted to help the bee population by making additions to a popular hive have won the Outstanding Field Research Award at the Biodesign Challenge Summit in New York.
A UT team will take its improvements for a popular beehive to the Biodesign Challenge in New York and compete against 29 schools from around the globe.
Chuck Ealey and Dr. Helen Sun will return to their alma mater to give addresses during spring commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 5, in the Glass Bowl.
Hazel, a therapy dog that belongs to Dr. Dawn Sandt, associate professor in the Department of Early Childhood, Higher Education and Special Education, is a regular at Reynolds Elementary School.
Dr. Rubin Patterson will visit UT to talk about “Black Toledo: A Documentary History of the African-American Experience in Toledo, Ohio,” a book he co-edited. He will speak Wednesday, Feb. 28.
